Nationals 2024
Congrats on our A-Team who went out to the Windy City and competed at Nationals! They returned with an honorable mention and SPAMTA for a SECOND YEAR IN A ROW! This team has made AMTA history as the first program to win SPAMTA at Regionals, ORCS, and Nationals in a singular season. Congratulations guys! It always pays to be nice!!
Special shoutout to our President, Josiah Jones, for getting a DOUBLE All American Attorney award. This is the first time in 6 years Irvine has produced an All American.

ORCs 2024 - A and B team
We are so proud of our A & B teams, which competed in Los Angeles this weekend at ORCS. A-Team fought tirelessly and went UNDEFEATED with a record of 7.5 Wins. Not only were they good, but they were also nice. In the words of our coach, Rob, “Nice guys finish first.” They had the honor of receiving SPAMTA with 29 ranks. Fantastic work!!!
Our A-team captains also came home with some hardware. Shoutout to our President, Josiah Jones, for his 12TH AWARD OF THE SEASON. Dylan Darwish also won the ONLY double witness award at the tournament. Congrats, you guys!
Our B-Team competed excellently and also walked away with an individual award! Alexa Evrigenis won an attorney award with 16 Ranks! We’re so proud!

ampta regionals fresno 2024
This past weekend UCI A & B traveled to Fresno to compete in their Regional Tournament, and they brought back some SERIOUS hardware. First, HUGE congratulations to UCI A (Team Bowser) for getting a bid with a record of 6.5 wins. With that, we are now sending TWO teams for ORCs! Next, we had 4 competitors come home with All-Regional awards: Alexa Evrigenis, Kyla Kowalewski, Dylan Darwish (witness awards) and Josiah Jones (attorney award). Lastly, we were also awarded with an Honorable Mention for SPAMTA with a perfect score of 30 Ranks! Thank you all for such good competition.

Ampta Regionals Tempe 2024
This weekend our C and D teams took on our first regional tournament at Tempe, Arizona. Both teams faced serious competition and came out with some great wins. A huge congratulations to our D Team who earned Mock Trial at UCI’s first bid to ORCS! Additionally, congrats to Khushi Patel for winning an All-Regional Attorney award. We couldn’t be prouder of both teams for their amazing work this weekend and for getting us started on the road to Nationals!

Slotown hoedown 2024
We had a blast competing at Cal Poly SLOs winter invitational Our teams made out like bandits, securing 1st, 4th, and 5th place. We came back with a tiny bit of hardware, getting 6 individual awards. We hit some phenomenal competition and had a fantastic time doing it. See you all next week in Arizona for our first round of regionals!

Great chicago Fire 2024
Congratulations to Team Bowser for having a successful weekend competing at the 10th Annual Great Chicago Fire Invitational! Not only did our team hit some great competition, but we also came back with trophies. First off, our team won SPAMTA with a perfect 30 Ranks at the tournament. Being nice has never felt so good. Next up, our A-Team Captain’s took home some serious hardware. Our President, Josiah Jones, came away with a 24 & 22 Rank Attorney award. He was the ONLY competitor at the entire tournament to double award. Dylan Darwish came home with a 23 Rank Witness award. So proud of them both!

This past weekend all 4 UCI had teams had the pleasure of competing at UCLA’s UCLAssic Invitational! Congratulations to both Josiah Jones and Khushi Patel for winning outstanding attorney awards. And a huge thank you to UCLA for inviting us to an incredible tournament with great competition!

Beach party 2024
This weekend Mock Trial at UCI hosted its annual Beach Party Invitational welcoming teams across the county. Both A and B team competed in the tournament and walked away with 2nd place in the final championship! Additionally, congratulations to both Josiah Jones and Sophia Hobby, who earned an attorney award and witness award respectively. A huge thank you to all the teams who came and participated. A great way to start the season!

Mocktopia 2023
We are extremely proud of both of our teams that competed at UC Santa Barbara’s Mocktopia Tournament. Teams Yoshi and Luigi locked in two honorable mention wins in an extremely competitive field! Not to mention our President Josiah Jones coming in with another attorney award and Brian Migliaccio pulling out a witness award at his 2nd tournament ever! Big thank you to UCSB for inviting us and putting on a great tournament.

Anteater 2023
This past weekend Mock Trial at UCI had the absolute pleasure of hosting our very own Anteater Invitational! With a record-breaking number of teams and the largest tournament we’ve hosted to date, all 5 Anteater teams had a blast competing—a huge thank you to all the schools that participated and made it a memorable weekend. Facing an amazing competition, both Teams, MARIO and LUIGI, gained honorable mentions! Finally, congratulations to all the individual award winners: Allie Chotikul, Daniel Pena, Josiah Jones, Julie Abing, Rajvee Patel, Stephanie Stahovich, Alexa Evergenis, and Dylan Darwish.

Wlodarczyk 2023
All 3 competing UCI teams swept away the competition this last weekend at UCSD’s Wlodarczyk tournament at Cal Western Law School! Congratulations to Team Daisy on their 1st place win, Team Mario for taking 2nd, and Team Peach coming in 4th! Huge thank you to UCSD’s amazing team for putting on a fantastic tournament.
